In a recent development, the MediaLab creative cluster at Örkön in Yakutia has announced the production of a new series of short films titled "Sayyıngy Sarsarda" under the popular children's media project, "Eralashka".

Located in the village of Borogoncы, Ust-Alda ulus, the MediaLab provides facilities for recreational gaming zones, IT-CENTER, and a media lab equipped with various computer technologies. This children's centre recently concluded its summer season at the Örkön children's camp.

The "Eralashka" films are produced by the TsifraPlus studio, with the Elgaugol company serving as a sponsor. The studio has been creating these engaging short films since 2011, with over ten releases, including 50 shorts.

The new series was made possible through a 1 million ruble grant that the project authors received from the Elgaugol company, following their victory in the Innosfera-2023 competition, organized by the Future Generations Fund and the republic's Unified Resource Center.

The production of the new series took place at the media lab of the Örkön children's camp. Forty children were involved in the project, learning the basics of journalism, filmmaking, animation, computer graphics, photography, and mental arithmetic "Ahsaan".

A video about the production of the new series can be found on the MediaLab's Telegram channel, providing a glimpse into the creative process and the excitement of the young participants.

This project marks a significant step forward in Yakutia's children's media scene, fostering creativity, learning, and entertainment for the young minds of the region.

"The newly produced series of short films, "Sayyıngy Sarsarda," under the project "Eralashka," is set to enhance the lifestyle and education-and-self-development of children in Yakutia. The 40 young participants not only had a memorable experience learning journalism, filmmaking, animation, computer graphics, photography, and mental arithmetic "Ahsaan," but they also contributed to Yakutia's growing children's media scene."
