Yakutia's Vinokurov to Compete in 'Master of the Year'
Afanasy Vinokurov, a dedicated educator from Yakutia, is set to represent his region in the prestigious 5th All-Russian Professional Mastery Competition, 'Master of the Year', held in the Kursk region from September 27 to October 2. Vinokurov, a teacher of special disciplines at the V.M. Chlenov Yakutsk Industrial-Pedagogical College, will present an educational case and conduct an open lesson for second-year students studying the 'Welder' profession.
Before his departure, Vinokurov held a meeting with Mikhail Prisyazhny, the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Yakutia. Prisyazhny wished Vinokurov to exhibit a high level of professionalism and creativity during the competition. The final of the event, to be held on October 2, the Day of Vocational Education, will see 89 regional stage winners, including Vinokurov, competing for the top honour.
Prisyazhny also encouraged Vinokurov to foster strong interregional connections with participants from other Russian subjects. Vinokurov's educational case and open lesson are expected to showcase his unique teaching methods and contribute to the growth of vocational education in Yakutia.
