The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has announced that the WBJEE 2025 results will be released on August 7. Candidates who pass the examination will participate in the counselling process for admissions into undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programs offered by colleges in West Bengal. Here's a comprehensive guide on how the WBJEE 2025 counselling process works.

Steps in WBJEE Counselling 2025

  1. Online Registration: Candidates who have passed the WBJEE 2025 exam must register online on the official WBJEEB website (wbjeeb.nic.in) to participate in the counselling process. During registration, candidates need to provide necessary personal and academic details.
  2. Payment of Counselling Fee: After registering, candidates must pay a non-refundable counselling fee online, typically around ₹500, using debit/credit cards or net banking.
  3. Choice Filling and Locking: Registered candidates will fill out their preferred colleges and courses in order of preference. They must lock their choices before the final allotment; if not locked, the last saved choices will be used for allotment.
  4. Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s rank, category, chosen preferences, and availability of seats. The seat allotment result will be declared online.
  5. College Admission: Selected candidates must confirm their admission by paying the seat acceptance fee and reporting to designated centers for document verification. After verification, candidates will need to pay a provisional admission fee at the reporting center.
  6. Rounds of Counselling: There will be three rounds: Allotment, Upgradation, and Mop-Up. Candidates can upgrade their seats if they are allotted a higher preference in subsequent rounds.

The counselling process is expected to begin shortly after the result announcement, with exact dates to be announced on the official website. Candidates are advised to check the official website (wbjeeb.nic.in) for the latest updates about the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination.

For more information, visit the official website and download the WBJEE 2025 rank card, which will include the candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, category, gender, WBJEE 2025 rank, total marks obtained, and subject-wise scores (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics). The rank card will not contain any advertisements.

Good luck to all the candidates!

Education-and-self-development continues beyond the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) as candidates who pass the 2025 edition can participate in online-education opportunities through the counselling process for admissions into undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programs offered by colleges in West Bengal. During the counselling process, candidates are required to lock their choices of colleges and courses in order of preference (learning).
