Theatre venture for kids available through JuBB Werden's cultural backpack program
The Jugend- und Bürgerbegegnungszentrum Werden (JuBB Werden) is hosting a unique theater project for children and young people aged 10 to 14, titled "A Mysterious Story." This exciting event will take place from October 20 to 25, 2025, during the second week of the autumn holidays.
The project, part of the Kulturrucksack NRW program, will see the young participants inventing their own stories and dressing up as they work in groups to develop ideas, characters, and plots. Each day, they will work from 10 am to 3 pm, with support from actress Veronika Maruhn and theater educator Christiane Kammer, who will guide the young theater makers throughout the project.
Registrations for the project can be made with Christiane Kammer, the theater educator at JuBB Werden, responsible for supporting children and youth in creating and performing a theater project. Registrations can be made by phone at 0201 88-51149 or by email at [email protected] website. The maximum number of participants for the project is twelve.
On the last day of the project, the piece developed will be performed for families and friends. The ideas, characters, and plots could take place in a past neighborhood of Werden, making the performance a true reflection of the local culture and history.
So, if you're between the ages of 10 and 14 and enjoy storytelling, dressing up, and working in a team, don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to be part of "A Mysterious Story" at JuBB Werden in October 2025.
