The wait is nearly over for students who took the Class 12 examinations in Tamil Nadu. The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has announced that the supplementary results will be declared on July 25, 2025. However, the exact release time remains unconfirmed.
Reports suggest that the results will be available anytime during the afternoon of that day. Students can check their results on the official website, dge.tn.gov.in, by entering their roll number and date of birth once the result is published. It is advisable to keep admit cards handy for quick access.
A total of 7,92,494 students appeared in the main exams, out of which 7,53,142 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 95.03%. Among these, 4,19,316 girls appeared, with 4,05,472 girls passing, and 3,73,178 boys appeared, with 3,47,670 boys passing.
For students who wish to obtain a copy of their answer sheet, a visit to the office of the Assistant Director of Government Examinations in their respective districts is required on July 28 and 29. An application for the copy of the answer sheet, along with a fee of Rs 275 per subject, must be submitted.
It is important to note that only students who apply for a copy of their answer sheet will be eligible to apply for revaluation or recounting later.
