The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has declared the results for the Class 10 board examinations in 2025. A total of 1,45,671 students appeared for the exams across the Union Territory.

Out of these, 1,16,453 students successfully passed the examinations, with an overall pass percentage of 79.94%.

Girls have performed better than boys in the Class 10 exams, with a pass percentage of 81.24%, compared to 78.74% for boys.

Tabinda Jan and Aayat Eshan are among the top performers in the 2025 Class 10 board exams, scoring 498 marks out of 500 (99.6%). Maliha Sareer, Sehreen Zahoor, Ayat Nisar, Raja Ibrahim Mohd Khan, and Rubta Mukhtar are other students who scored exceptionally high, securing 497 marks (99.4%).

A total of 27 students scored 496 marks (99.2%) in the Class 10 exams.

The pass rate for English is 83%, Mathematics 88%, Social Studies 92%, Hindi 96%, and Urdu 91%. The pass rate for Science is 87%.

Students can check their Class 10 results online by visiting the official websites jkbose.nic.in or jkresults.nic.in. Students can access their marksheets using the DigiLocker platform.

JKBOSE has made arrangements to provide soft copies of the result gazettes at the nearest board offices for students without internet access.

Information about the re-evaluation process and supplementary exams for students who did not pass will be provided by JKBOSE in the coming days.

Students who have passed can start preparing for admission to Class 11 and decide on the stream they wish to choose- Science, Commerce, or Arts based on their interest and performance.

Students from private schools have a pass percentage of 91.83%, which is significantly higher than the pass percentage of 72.91% for students from government schools.

The Chairperson of JKBOSE, Prof. (Dr.) Parikshat Singh Manhas, congratulated all successful candidates and appreciated the efforts of teachers and administrative staff.

A total of 14,115 students received Grade A1 (Excellent), 17,471 students received Grade A2, 25,467 students received Grade C1, 29,117 students received Grade B2, 6,269 students received Grade C2, and a total of 23,365 students received Grade B1.
