The Department of Science and Technology (DST) has announced a new opportunity for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DST-funded project titled "Identification of novel genomic regions governing resistance against recently evolved devastating stripe rust pathotype 238S119 in unexplored durum wheat landraces from southern India."

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates interested in this position should hold a Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences or a Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses such as Genetics, Plant Breeding, Genetics and Plant Breeding, or Agricultural Biotechnology. Candidates with CSIR-UGC NET or GATE qualifications are preferred.
