Putin Honours Russian Educators at Sirius Centre's 10-Year Anniversary
President Vladimir Putin recognised the dedication of Russian educators, presenting them with prestigious awards at a ceremony marking the 10-year anniversary of the Sirius educational centre. The event, attended by Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, honoured teachers from across the country for their contributions to education and mentorship.
Putin praised teachers for their role in preparing participants for the special military operation and bestowed upon them the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, the 'For Mentorship' badge, and honorary titles. A teacher from the Vladimir region received the Order of the Badge of Honor for Services to the Fatherland, the Award for Education, and the honorary title 'Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation' or 'Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation'.
The President emphasised that educators continue the noble traditions of Russian pedagogy, preserving the uniqueness and sovereignty of the country through their work. The ceremony also celebrated the opening of a new modern concert complex at Sirius, with Putin delivering a speech to mark the occasion.
The event underscored the Russian government's commitment to recognising and rewarding the hard work and dedication of educators. The awards and new facilities aim to inspire teachers and foster a culture of excellence in Russian education.
