Promo Industry Unveils 2021 Power 50 List, Led by BAMKO's Phil Koosed
The promotional products industry has unveiled its most influential figures for 2021. The ASI Power Summit, held in October, revealed the Counselor Power 50 list, featuring seven newcomers and three returning executives. Jo-an Lantz of Geiger tops the list, followed by Jonathan Isaacson of Gemline and Phil Koosed of BAMKO.
Jo-an Lantz, CEO and president of Geiger, secured the No. 3 spot on the list. Lantz has been instrumental in driving Geiger's growth and innovation in the industry.
Phil Koosed, founder of BAMKO, took the No. 1 position. Under his leadership, BAMKO achieved a remarkable 78.5% increase in annual North American promo revenue in 2020. Koosed's strategic vision has solidified BAMKO's status as a top 40 distributor.
Jonathan Isaacson, CEO and chairman of Gemline, ranked No. 2. Isaacson has guided Gemline through various challenges, including supply chain delays and staffing shortages, demonstrating strong leadership in the face of adversity.
Other notable executives include Jeremy Lott of SanMar at No. 4 and Marc Simon of HALO Branded Solutions at No. 5. Both have made significant contributions to their respective companies and the industry as a whole.
The Counselor Power 50 list for 2021 recognizes the industry's top leaders, highlighting their resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges. These executives continue to drive growth and innovation in the promotional products sector.
