**Park University Appoints Jayme Uden as Chief Human Resources Officer**

Jayme Uden, a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in student affairs, has accepted a new leadership role at Park University. As of March 18, 2024, Uden will serve as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), taking on the responsibility of leading the university's human resources functions.

Uden's career at Park University began in December 2016 when he joined the institution as the associate vice president and dean of students. Prior to this role, he held various positions within Park University, including serving as dean of students, associate dean of students, and assistant dean of student life.

Before joining Park University, Uden worked as an assistant director for residence life at the University of Kansas from 2006 to 2011. His career in education also includes a stint as a residence life coordinator at Kansas State University from 2003 to 2006.

As CHRO, Uden will oversee and lead human resources strategies at Park University. His responsibilities will encompass talent management, employee relations, training and development, performance improvement, compensation and benefits, organisational development, HR information systems, and regulatory compliance.

Uden's educational background aligns with his professional career. He holds a Doctor of Education degree in higher education from the University of Kansas, a Master of Education degree in higher education from Iowa State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the same institution.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Uden has been actively involved in collegiate student life organisations. He is a past board member of the Greater Kansas City Housing Information Center and a member of NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. Uden was also a member of the Northland (Kansas City, Mo.) Regional Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Northland class of 2013-14.

Uden's tenure as CHRO marks a significant step in Park University's human resources management, as he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. The university community looks forward to the positive impact his leadership will have on the institution's workforce and culture.
