Popular Fields of Study
For the 2025 admission campaign, top fields of study prominently include medicine (MBBS and medical postgraduate programs) and engineering, reflecting their strong institutional reputations and program offerings. SSMU, known for its medical education in English, offers a 6-year MBBS course including internships, and offers recognized qualifications accredited by national and international bodies. TSU and NRTPU are recognized among top engineering universities in Russia, ranked within the QS World Rankings 2025.
Enrollment Trends
Regarding the status of enrollment for master's programs, particularly in areas like medical postgraduate education, the trend shows continued demand with various universities including TSU offering such courses. PG medical education (MD/MS) with specializations like cardiology, neurology, surgery, etc., remains accessible for Indian and international students, emphasizing affordable fees and recognized curricula.
