New hires and prospective personnel by the local administration - Eight individuals
In the heart of the Landshut district, eight new trainees embarked on their career paths in public administration on September 1, 2025. Landrat Peter Dreier, Eva Schinharl, and Christian Gruber welcomed the new recruits, marking the beginning of a transformative journey.
The Landratsamt, a local authority, offers a diverse range of work areas, from Waste Management to Registration. These trainees are about to immerse themselves in this rich environment, preparing themselves for the specialists of the future.
The training team at the Landratsamt has organised induction days for the newcomers, designed to familiarise them with their tasks and the Landratsamt organisation. During these days, they will be supported by trainees from higher years, ensuring a smooth transition into their new roles.
Two of the new trainees will start their studies at the third level of qualification on October 1, 2025. The details of these individuals remain undisclosed at this time.
Meanwhile, four other trainees have chosen a civil service career path at the second level of qualification. Their two-year dual training programme combines practical experience at the Landratsamt with theoretical blocks at the Bavarian Administration School. These trainees are specialising in "General Internal Administration of the Free State of Bavaria and Municipal Administration".
The remaining four new trainees are training as Administrative Specialists, but the specifics of their qualification levels and specialisations have yet to be disclosed.
The apprenticeships at the Landratsamt provide an excellent foundation for a successful career in administration. Diligence, enthusiasm, and a good connection to the citizen are considered the most important prerequisites for success in this field.
The Landratsamt is committed to nurturing young, dedicated individuals, ensuring the continuity and success of public administration in the Landshut district.
