Moscow Launches Courses for SVO Veterans, Aiding Reintegration
Moscow has launched a series of educational courses tailored for veterans of the special military operation (SVO). This initiative, announced by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, aims to provide professional development and employment assistance to SVO participants and their families. The Unified Support Center, led by Anatoly Seryshev, is at the forefront of this comprehensive support programme.
The centre has opened new short courses, offering certificates upon completion. These courses span a range of practical skills and entrepreneurial training. Participants can learn basic car maintenance, laser cutting on CNC machines, and 3D printing. Additionally, an educational programme called 'Home Master' covers a broad spectrum of home repair skills, including plumbing, metalwork, finishing, carpentry, and refrigerator repair. Interested individuals can register for these courses at the employment department of the Unified Support Center.
Moscow's support for SVO veterans and their families is multifaceted, with educational courses playing a significant role. These courses not only equip participants with new skills but also provide a pathway to employment and reintegration into civilian life. The city's commitment to supporting SVO participants is evident in the diverse range of courses offered and the comprehensive assistance provided.
