Microsoft Takes Down 338 Phishing Websites; Luxury Brands Hacked; UK National Charged for Cyber Attacks
Microsoft has taken down 338 websites to disrupt a growing phishing service, while a UK national faces charges for multiple cyber attacks, including on critical infrastructure. Meanwhile, luxury brands Gucci, Balenciaga, and Alexander McQueen have been targeted by hackers.
Microsoft's move comes as part of its efforts to combat the 'RaccoonO365' phishing service, which has been rapidly expanding. The tech giant seized 338 websites to disrupt the service's operations.

In a separate incident, luxury brands Gucci, Balenciaga, and Alexander McQueen have been hit by hackers who ransomed their private data. The hackers, known as 'Shiny Hunters', gained unauthorized access to internal systems of the French luxury group Kering in June 2025. They stole personal data of 7.4 million customers, including names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, and spending information. While no financial details were compromised, the situation remains sensitive due to potential phishing risks.
A national from the United Kingdom has been charged in connection with multiple cyber attacks, including on critical infrastructure. Two individuals have also been charged for a cyber attack on Transport for London (TfL).
The SystemBC campaign has been active, creating noise in the cyber landscape.
