Magadan Celebrates Seniors with Weekend of Culture and Creativity

Magadan residents can look forward to a variety of cultural and creative events this weekend, celebrating the Day of the Older Person and offering activities for all ages.

Kicking off the festivities, a Weekend Club 'Fun starts: Higher. Faster. Stronger' for children aged 6 and above will be held on October 4th at 12:00 at MBMK g. Magadan 'DCK Snezhnyi'. This will be followed by a concert program 'Treasures of the soul' at the same venue at 12:00, dedicated to the Day of the Elderly.

On October 4th, a Masterclass in volume applique 'Autumn birch' will take place at the Magadan Children's and Youth Center for Reading at 14:00, running over two days. Meanwhile, at Ethnopark 'Dyukcha', a Masterclass in making a brooch 'Heart' will also commence at 14:00, and a Masterclass 'Autumn colors' will follow at the same time.

For those interested in creative writing, a Masterclass 'Teacher's magnet' will be held at Library-filial No 1 MBMK g. Magadan TsBS at 15:00 on October 4th. Later in the day, a festive theatrical concert dedicated to the Day of the Older Person 'From the Heart' will take place at the Magadan City Palace of Culture 'Pioneer' at 16:00.

On October 5th, a Family games 'Game library' event will be held from 10:00 to 17:00 at Magadan Oblast Children's Library. Additionally, a Masterclass in creating a festive greeting card for the International Day of Older Persons will take place at the same venue at 13:00. Lastly, a Masterclass in making a brooch 'Heart' will conclude at Ethnopark 'Dyukcha' at 14:00.

With a diverse range of events catering to different interests and ages, Magadan's cultural scene promises an engaging and inclusive weekend. From creative workshops to concerts and games, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
