Lluís Nacenta to delve into the intersection of art, AI, and creativity at the CCEBA event
In August 2025, Spanish researcher Lluís Nacenta will visit Argentina to share his insights on artificial intelligence (AI) in a series of seminars, workshops, and encounters.
Born in Barcelona in 1976, Nacenta holds degrees in Mathematics and Music. His expertise spans beyond academia, as he has directed the Hangar centre and participated in the Sónar + D festival. He has also curated exhibitions at the Antoni Tàpies Foundation and Arts Santa Mònica, among others.
Nacenta's conversation will focus on his curatorial research titled "AI: Artificial Intelligence," which he developed in 2023 and 2024 at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB). This exhibition explores the historical development and operational mechanisms of AI.
On August 19 at 7 PM, Nacenta will speak about AI challenges and opportunities in various art fields at the Center for Spanish Culture in Córdoba province (CCEC). The following day, at 3 PM, the cycle "Displacements" will present an encounter discussing artificial intelligence from contemporary art.
