Swing Left, a non-profit organisation focused on voter engagement and democratic participation, is on the hunt for a new Head of Technology. This full-time, remote position offers an annual compensation range of approximately $160,000 to $170,000.
Role and Responsibilities
As the Head of Technology, you will be responsible for leading the technology strategy to enhance voter engagement and democratic participation. This role involves serving as a senior leader in organizational strategy, culture, and development. Key duties include driving Swing Left's tech vision and infrastructure, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and using technology to advance the organisation's political mission.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have strong experience in technology leadership, excellent organisational and communication skills, and alignment with Swing Left’s mission. Familiarity with collaborative and campaign-support platforms such as Google Suite, Slack, Asana, and Zoom is also essential.

We plan to begin interviews in July and are aiming for a September start date. The Head of Technology will manage a team of engineers, analysts, and product managers, and will be primarily a manager and strategist, not an individual contributor. Knowledge of the listed tech stack is expected to a certain level to supervise the team.
