Landkreis Foundation Provides €2,500 Support to Wilhelm Löhe University
In a significant move to address the needs of young people and young adults, the District Foundation has provided financial support to a project group at the Wilhelm Löhe University. The project, led by Prof. Dr. Clemens Werkmeister and Prof. Dr. Philipp Stang, aims to analyze and optimize the regional provision and networking of healthcare actors and actresses in the thematic spectrum of sexuality and gender.
The project group, which is the recipient of the financial aid, is under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Clemens Werkmeister, who serves as the President of the project's leadership team alongside Prof. Dr. Philipp Stang. The District Foundation, established under the umbrella of the 'Sparkasse Fürth Foundation Community', has made this donation possible.
District Administrator Bernd Obst, who chairs the District Foundation Council, emphasized the importance of catering to sensitive topics like sexuality and gender. He encourages donations to support the District Foundation's projects, particularly those focusing on sexuality and gender.
The District Foundation's donation account is managed by the Sparkasse Fürth Foundation Community. The account details for donations are as follows:
- IBAN: DE56 7625 0000 0009 9535 63
- BIC: BYLADEM1SFU
Anyone can support the District Foundation by making a donation or adding to the Foundation's capital through additional donations. These donations can also be claimed for tax purposes.
The District of Fürth has a history of supporting family- and youth-related projects and organizations annually. The current chairman of the foundation council (Stiftungsrat) of the Foundation Fürth is Klaus Teichmann.
The project group's focus on interdisciplinary healthcare provision in the thematic spectrum of sexuality and gender is a timely and crucial initiative. It is expected that the findings and optimizations from this project will contribute significantly to the regional healthcare landscape.
This collaboration between the Wilhelm Löhe University, the District Foundation, and the District of Fürth underscores the commitment to addressing the needs of young people and young adults in a comprehensive and supportive manner.
