Kinzing School kicks off the festivities for the holiday season
The Kinzing School in Neuwied recently hosted a summer holiday camp for its students, providing a positive start to the summer break. The camp, which took place during the first week of the holidays, was filled with team spirit and fun, as both children and teachers participated in various activities.
The summer holiday camp was an internal event organized by the school, with the school social worker playing a role in its organisation. Students from grades 1 to 8 participated in the camp, which offered a variety of activities including joint research, games, and swimming.
One of the highlights of the camp was the "Team Challenge", where students competed in groups to earn points by completing tasks on the school grounds. The camp also included excursions to popular local attractions such as the Taunus-Wunderland amusement park, the Neuwied wave pool, and the Museum for Human Behavioural Evolution in Monrepos.
The summer holiday camp was supported by various organisations in the community, including Sparkasse Neuwied, the Lions Club Neuwied-Andernach, and the evangelical community Neuwied-Heddesdorf, who provided financial support.
Unfortunately, no new information about the outcome of the competitions or excursions was provided. Despite this, the camp was a success, with the students enjoying themselves and making memories that will last a lifetime. The Kinzing School summer holiday camp in Neuwied has certainly set a positive tone for the summer break, and we look forward to hearing more about future events and activities.
