In the world of career development, Storck and Volksbank continue to stand out as leading companies offering valuable apprenticeship programs. Here's a snapshot of what future specialists can expect from these esteemed organisations.

At Storck, a renowned German confectionery manufacturer, apprentices can anticipate a varied and practical apprenticeship, with exposure to various departments and active involvement in daily operations. Although specific details for 2026 apprenticeship programs at Storck are not yet available, the general structure of their industrial company apprenticeships typically includes a comprehensive training program combining practical on-the-job training at Storck plants or offices with classroom instruction in vocational schools.

The training program lasts 2-3 years, depending on the profession, and covers a wide range of occupations such as industrial clerks, mechatronics technicians, process mechanic for sugar technology or food production, warehouse logistics specialists, and production technologists.

To apply for Storck's apprenticeship programs, it is recommended to visit their official career or apprenticeship web pages directly, contact their Human Resources or apprenticeship coordination office, or check the German Federal Employment Agency’s apprenticeship portal for Storck listings.

Meanwhile, Volksbank offers a unique dual study program for future business information technicians, Aron Hermann and Karim Khalaf, as well as practice-integrated study programs in industrial engineering for Marla Rummel and Lara Schröder. The application process for 2026 has already begun, and there are still places available for all professions.

Storck employs 133 apprentices and dual students, with new apprentices starting in 20 different professions and courses of study. These include industrial mechanics, metalworking mechanic, retail salesperson (m/f/d), retail merchant (m/f/d), logistics specialists, and food technology specialists, among others.

The company focuses on quality rather than quantity and on apprentices who have demonstrated personality and commitment in a two-stage selection process. For those school leavers with a Realschulabschluss or (Fach-)Abitur who are open-minded and eager for a modern and service-oriented apprenticeship, positions at Volksbank are open.

In addition, Volksbank has recently welcomed new team members, including Michelle Lomotowski, Simon Gǘnner, Fabian Nosbisch, and Levi Sudermann, to its ranks.

For those interested in exploring apprenticeship opportunities further, the Vocatium fair in Gütersloh city hall on September 23rd and 24th welcomes applications for the following year.

  1. At Storck, one can anticipate a comprehensive education-and-self-development journey through their apprenticeship program, which offers a practical blend of on-the-job training and classroom learning, leading to personal-growth and learning across various occupations.
  2. Volksbank's apprenticeship programs, such as their dual study program for business information technicians and their practice-integrated study programs in industrial engineering, offer unique opportunities for personal-growth and learning in the field of career development.
