Grants for 93,000 Kazakhstan university students have been allotted

In the Republic of Kazakhstan, significant strides are being made in the education sector under the guidance of the Head of State.

One of the most notable changes is the provision of free hot meals to 1.7 million schoolchildren, including 99,000 from vulnerable social groups. This initiative aims to ensure that every child has the necessary nourishment to focus on their studies.

To improve learning conditions, a comprehensive renovation of 245 schools is underway, benefiting over 95,000 students. This renovation is part of a larger effort to create a conducive learning environment for students.

The "National Fund - Children" program has allocated funds for the future education and housing of 6.8 million children. This investment in the future generation of Kazakhstan is a testament to the government's commitment to education.

The Deputy Prime Minister of RK, Ermek Kosherbaev, recently discussed the education sector at a press conference in the government. While specific details about his insights on current education initiatives and reforms were not available, it is clear that he is actively involved in shaping the future of education in Kazakhstan.

To further support students, stipends and college funding have been doubled this year. This increase is expected to alleviate financial burdens and allow more students to pursue higher education.

In addition, 24 branches of leading foreign universities have been opened, providing students with opportunities to gain a global perspective and learn from the best in their fields.

A new nutrition standard has been introduced, featuring more vegetables, less sugar, and the exclusion of harmful products. This standard aims to promote healthier eating habits among students, which in turn can improve their overall well-being and academic performance.

The construction of new dormitories has reduced the shortage of places by 72%, and this work will continue. Additionally, the construction of another 177 schools is currently underway.

Since the beginning of the year, 172 kindergartens with 13,000 places have been opened in the country, reducing the waiting list for kindergarten places.

For university admission, 93,000 grants are available, including for magistracy and doctoral studies. This support is expected to encourage more students to pursue higher education and contribute to the country's intellectual growth.

In the last two years, 274 new schools with 388,000 places have been opened, including schools under the "Comfortable School" National Project. These new schools are designed to provide students with modern facilities and a comfortable learning environment.

With these initiatives and more, the education sector in the Republic of Kazakhstan is undergoing a transformation, setting the stage for a brighter future for its children.

In the context of Kazakhstan's education sector transformation, funds from the "National Fund - Children" program are designated not only for future education but also for the future housing of a significant number of children, demonstrating the government's long-term investment in education and self-development.
