Extended Deadline for Emirates Awards 2025 now stands at April 30th.
The third edition of the Make it in the Emirates Awards is set to take place from 19-22 May at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Abu Dhabi. This prestigious event, a key component of the UAE's Operation 300bn strategy to expand the industrial sector to AED300 billion by 2031, will feature over 500 exhibitors across 50,000 sqm of space, making it the largest edition yet.
Organised under nine categories and five strategic pillars, the awards aim to spotlight standout achievements in various areas such as smart manufacturing, sustainability, in-country value (ICV), leadership, talent development, and the preservation of traditional crafts.
The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) has partnered with the University of Cambridge as the official Technical Evaluation Partner for the awards. The University will apply international best practices to evaluate entries for the awards, ensuring a fair and comprehensive assessment.
New categories for this year include Industry Enablers and Strategic Partners, Excellence in In-Country Value (ICV), and under Leadership and Talent, Young Talent and Inspirational Leader.
The Factory of the Future category honours achievements in sustainability, smart manufacturing, and innovation. The awards also recognise UAE Traditional Crafts, aiming to preserve, promote, and innovate in traditional Emirati craft and cultural heritage.
Evaluation for the awards will begin after the deadline, with winners announced on the first day of Make it in the Emirates 2025. The deadline for submissions has been extended to 30 April 2025.
Last year, the awards received over 670 submissions and recognised 13 trailblazers in industrial advancement. The awards serve as a testament to the UAE's commitment to fostering innovation and growth in the manufacturing and advanced technology sectors.
