Explore Mini-Mathematikum for Free: KAPLA Plates & Pull-Cube Await in Giessen
The Mathematikum in Giessen is offering a special treat for families during the Hessian autumn holidays. From October 6 to 17, children aged three and above can explore the Mini-Mathematikum at no extra cost.
The highlight of this period is the special exhibition 'Bold Constructions with KAPLA Plates'. It features over 30,000 KAPLA stones, used to create filigree towers, animals, and large-scale constructions. Visitors can marvel at these intricate structures, made possible by the unique properties of KAPLA plates.
In addition to this exhibition, the Mathematikum has set up an interactive 'Pull-Cube' station. Open Monday to Friday from 11 am to 4 pm, this station transforms a flat piece of paper into a three-dimensional cube, providing a hands-on mathematical experience. Both the special exhibition and the 'Pull-Cube' station are included in the regular admission price.
The Mathematikum is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm during the autumn holidays. Don't miss out on this opportunity to engage children in a fun and educational way. The 'Bold Constructions with KAPLA Plates' exhibition and the 'Pull-Cube' station were created by Daniel Door and Jakob Weiß, ensuring a unique and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
