Wayne Winton is not only a seasoned locksmith, but also a proponent of education and training within the industry. His dedication extends beyond his business, as he currently serves as the ALOA Southwest Board Director.

Leading the webinar is Paul Ragusa, an expert in school security from Locksmith Ledger. Ragusa's expertise will provide a solid foundation for the discussion.

Joining Ragusa are three distinguished professionals: Guy Grace, Ron Shaffer, and Rick Fox.

Guy Grace, the chair of the Advisory Council for Partner Alliance for Safer Schools (PASS), brings over 30 years of experience in the safety and security industry to the table. As the K-12 National Security Program Manager for ASSA ABLOY, Grace has a deep understanding of school safety technology, emergency response, and deploying life safety technology in K-12 schools.

Grace's impressive resume includes serving as the director of Security and Emergency Planning for Littleton Public Schools in Denver, Colorado, for more than 30 years. He has received numerous national and security industry accolades, including the 2020 Campus Safety Director of the Year award. Grace is a regular speaker at school safety conferences and a commentator for various trade magazines and media outlets.

Ron Shaffer, an access control expert and industry veteran, leads Salto’s education solutions business practice. His focus is on innovative access control technology for educational facilities. Shaffer is passionate about safety in schools and student living environments. His expertise includes safe opening techniques, electric access control installation, and providing high-quality education and training to security professionals.

Rick Fox, with his extensive experience in maintaining door hardware, locks, elevators, fire safety systems, life safety systems, generators, emergency systems, campus electric distribution systems, alarms, and security cameras, adds a practical perspective to the discussion. Fox served as the Life Safety and Access Control Manager at Colorado Mesa University. Prior to his tenure at CMU, he worked as the Sports Coordinator for the city of Delta.

Together, these experts combine deep hands-on experience in school security management, technology, emergency planning, and innovative access control to provide comprehensive and authoritative guidance on the new PASS School Safety and Security Guidelines.
