The Technical Centre of Excellence (CoE) established by Delta Electronics India in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC), is set to empower youth with future-ready, industry-relevant skills in advanced electronics and automation fields. This initiative supports India’s growth as a global manufacturing hub by building a skilled workforce, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 regions.

The CoE, the first of its kind in the Krishnagiri district, is the result of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Delta Electronics India and TNSDC, witnessed by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. The MoU exchange took place at the launch event of the Naan Mudhalvan Finishing School (NMFS) initiative, held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.

The CoE offers 3 to 6-month advanced training programs in areas such as Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM), industrial automation, robotics, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming. The courses are co-designed by Delta’s industrial experts to align with global certification standards, and the curriculum is developed in consultation with Delta's industry experts and aligned with these standards.

The centre is equipped with smart classrooms, proprietary automation technologies, and a real-time simulation zone for immersive learning experiences. The training combines classroom sessions with hands-on practical experience using Delta’s industry-grade automation technology and systems.

The CoE emphasizes providing job-relevant skills, certified training, exposure to real-world factory environments, assured placement support, and fostering diversity by including women and economically disadvantaged youth. It operates under a no-cost model for trainees, with Delta providing training infrastructure, certified faculty, and real-time factory exposure.

The initiative also supports direct hiring pipelines for trained candidates, and the CoE provides a 70% placement assurance for trained candidates. This project forms a core part of Delta Electronics India's broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitment, focusing on education, employability, and environmental sustainability, and includes investments in renewable energy adoption, biodiversity programs, water-positive infrastructure, and now, industry-aligned skilling.

Benjamin Lin, President of Delta Electronics India, said that the CoE is a reflection of Delta’s belief in inclusive progress, bringing education, industry, and innovation together. The event was attended by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru M.K. Stalin, along with senior government officials and industry leaders. The Technical Centre of Excellence (CoE) is a key milestone in Delta's long-term ESG and skill development vision.
