Chevening Scholarships 2023/24 in Costa Rica Now Closed
The Chevening Scholarship programme for the academic year 2023/24 in Costa Rica is now closed. The application period ended on 1 November 2022, seeking exceptional individuals with outstanding academic records, leadership potential, and strong ties to Costa Rica. Applicants aimed to pursue a one-year Master's degree in the UK after at least two years of professional experience.
The Chevening scholarship, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and partner organisations, is designed to broaden perspectives and inspire change in scholars' home countries. This year's cohort will study Master's degrees in diverse fields such as Global Crime, Justice and Security, Environment and Sustainable Development, Human Rights and Politics, and International Trade.
On 21 August, British Ambassador to Costa Rica, Ben Lyster-Binns, hosted an event for new Costa Rican Chevening scholars. He reminded them that the scholarship is about more than just academic growth; it's about creating a network of influencers and change-makers worldwide.
The application period for the Chevening scholarship programme closes on 5 November. Professionals in any field are encouraged to apply, with more details and the application form available at www.chevening.org/apply. The 2024 to 2025 cohort will join a global community of over 50,000 alumni, continuing the programme's legacy of fostering international collaboration and impact.
