"Book Gift Campaign" in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
In the heart of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the Kamchatka Regional Scientific Library named after S.P. Krasheninnikov is spearheading an initiative to bring joy and knowledge to children. The "Give a Child a Book" action, organised by the Kamchatka Regional Children's Library, has been set in motion and will run until February 14.
This action is timed to coincide with the celebration of International Book Giving Day, a global event that promotes the joy and importance of sharing books with children and families. The collected books will be donated to large families on World Book Giving Day, which falls on February 14.
The books collected for this action should be new or in very good condition. The location for book donation is the lobby on the 1st floor of the library, and bringing books as gifts is possible from 9:00 to 20:00 every day.
The organisers of the action remind people that the goal is to delight children with their gifts. They encourage everyone to participate and help make a difference in a child's life. For more information about the "Give a Child a Book" action, contact 25-18-94 or 25-23-55.
By donating books, you are not only helping to expand a child's literary horizon but also providing them with positive emotions that come from receiving a gift. So, let's join hands and make this initiative a success, ensuring that every child in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky has the opportunity to read new books and experience the joy of reading.
