Beginning of Campbell County Fiscal Court's Citizens' Academy for 2025 set for Sept. 8. Deadline for applications is Aug. 22.

The Campbell County Fiscal Court is inviting residents and business owners to apply for its 2025 Citizens' Academy, an eight-week educational program designed to enhance civic education and foster greater citizen engagement in county government. The program, running from September 8 to November 3 (with no session on October 13), will meet on Monday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Citizens' Academy offers a unique opportunity for community members to gain valuable insights into the workings of local government. Participants will attend presentations by local elected officials, community partners, and county staff, covering topics such as economic development, quality of life, amenities, and public safety.
