Allen Appoints Rakesh Ranjan as CEO of Allen Online to Drive Edtech Growth

Allen Career Institute, a leading test preparation company, has appointed Rakesh Ranjan as the new CEO of Allen Online. The appointment comes as Allen Online, launched in April 2022 with a $600 million investment, aims to expand its reach and enhance learning experiences for millions of learners.

Ranjan brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as the CEO of Zomato's food delivery business, where he oversaw the transition of operations towards profitability and sustained market leadership. Prior to this, he launched and scaled Hyperpure, Zomato's B2B supply chain vertical, into a large business. Earlier in his career, Ranjan worked with the Boston Consulting Group, advising Indian conglomerates on digital and operational transformation.

Allen Online, which entered the edtech market last year, is expanding its offerings with AI-driven assessments, content, and student support. The platform aims to provide personalised, reliable, and high-quality learning experiences.
