Agency to Assist Klingel Employees Swiftly and Practically
The Nagold-Pforzheim Employment Agency has stepped in to assist over 1,300 Klingel employees following the closure announcement, with over 900 attending information sessions.
Starting from September 18, 2023, eight job placement offices were set up at the three Klingel locations in Sachsenstraße, Dennigstraße, and Im Altgefäll. These offices were established in collaboration with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) to help Klingel employees continue their training and find new employment opportunities.
Martina Lehmann, the CEO of the Nagold-Pforzheim Employment Agency, expressed optimism that many affected employees can be placed in new jobs in the coming weeks. To facilitate this, the agency is working to arrange meetings with staff in a familiar environment to pave the way for new career prospects.
The Klingel employees have been reported to be very reliable in scheduling their appointments with the employment agency. The sessions, held from August 30, 2023, addressed financial management, finding a new job, and immediate actions to take.
In addition, over 60 companies have expressed interest in hiring Klingel employees through the employment agency's employer service. A job fair is planned to be held in October, in cooperation with partner organizations.
