The 16th Annual Conference for Scientific University Collections, themed 'Is collecting timely?', is set to take place from 9 to 11 October 2025. The event, organized by the central collection coordinators of the Berlin University Alliance and the Society for University Collections e.V., will explore the relevance of collection practices at universities. It will commence at 11:00 am on 9 October 2025 and will include exclusive collection visits and insights into a joint digital collection platform.
The conference will delve into the fundamentals of collection practices, inviting experts from science, culture, and politics to question and discuss the topic.
